The National Skills Development Programme (NSDP) Journeyman Diploma is a comprehensive apprenticeship designed to equip trainees with the technical skills and workplace competencies required across multiple engineering disciplines.
Developed through a partnership between the MIC Institute of Technology, the German Chamber of Crafts and Trades, Fitz Werner GmbH, and ICON-INSTITUT of Aachen, Germany, this diploma is modelled after the internationally recognised German dual-system of training. This approach systematically combines structured, practical industry experience with formal vocational education.
Graduates of the NSDP Journeyman Diploma will be able to demonstrate a broad range of skills and knowledge relevant to the Manufacturing and Energy sectors, ensuring their readiness for employment in these industries.
