The Multi-Sector Skills Training (MuST) Programme is an apprenticeship-based initiative designed to equip trainees with hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills in key sectors, including Hospitality and Tourism, Fundamentals of Crop Production and Farm Management, and Construction. Participants spend four days each week immersed in real-world industry settings, developing their practical abilities within their chosen fields. One day per week is dedicated to instructor-led learning at MIC-IT’s Technology Centres, where trainees supplement their on-the-job experience with targeted classroom instruction. To support their success and encourage programme completion, all trainees receive a stipend throughout their training journey.
The Hospitality and Tourism training programme allows each applicant to specialise in just ONE Occupational Skills Area or level. A range of options is available across MIC-IT Technology Centres, all designed to equip participants with the skills and experience needed for a successful career in the industry.
