Industrial Craft Programme (ICP)
The Industrial Craft Programme is designed to fill the gap between the unskilled and the skilled industry-ready craftsman, and to provide graduates with skills and competencies in their chosen occupational field, to enter the world of work and contribute effectively to the economy while gaining an income.

Duration: Two (2) years, full-time
Mode of Delivery: In-person classes – 75% theory and 25% practical, hands-on training
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of three (3) CSEC passes with General Proficiency Grades I, II, or III, or GCE ‘O’ Levels (Grades A, B, or C), including English Language and Mathematics. A Science subject is an asset.
- Applicants who do not meet these requirements will be required to sit an entrance examination
- Minimum age: Sixteen (16) years
Required Documents (to be submitted online):
- Copies of academic certificates supporting the entry requirements above
- Copy of valid photo identification (e.g., National ID, Driver’s Permit, or Passport)
- Copy of electronic birth certificate
- Passport-sized photograph
- Recent utility bill (proof of current address)
Note: All applicants will be required to undergo an interview process.
- Application Fee: 30 TTD (non-refundable)
- Registration Fee: 500 TTD (non-refundable)
- Programme Fee: Government funded (Free for citizens of Trinidad and Tobago)

- National Examinations Council (NEC) Level II Certificate
- MIC Institute of Technology Practical Certificate
Note: For General Draughtsmanship Technician and Industrial Instrumentation Mechanic, trainees will receive:
- National Examinations Council (NEC) Level III Certificate (NEC Diploma)
- MIC Institute of Technology Practical Certificate
